About John Valincius

John Valincius is a board certified Physician Assistant practicing in Emergency and Addiction Medicine in eastern Pennsylvania. He is a graduate of the Hahnemann University College of Nursing and Health Professions Physician Assistant program (now part of Drexel University) and the University of Nebraska College of Allied Health Professions Master of Physician Assistant Studies program and has been actively practicing as a PA-C for near 25 years. Before PA school, John worked as a policeman in several area departments. At 15, John became one of the youngest people ever to volunteer with the local ambulance provider. He rose up through the ranks to become assistant Chief and he knew from this experience that medicine would be his passion. For fun, John travels. As of this writing, he's visited 34 countries where he has hiked Machu Picchu in Peru, swam with turtles in Hawaii, dove with sharks in Yap, dog sled in Alaska, scuba'ed with manta rays in Palau, drank rum in Cuba and visited most US States. He usually has his next three adventures mapped out at any given moment.
